#9 develop cottage industries in every community. Didn't the chinese try that in the early days? Run a forge in your backyard comrade! Result: very poor quality steel. |

#8 Was the shortage of needed PPE for managing airborne epidemics ever really resolved? At the start of COVID-19 the supposed US emergency stockpile had been depleted and nowhere near the amount that was suddenly in demand. China has probably since shipped us a few cargos of PPE, which may or may not actually work as described, but who's keeping track? |

#7 Any recent developments on the special transformers needed to keep the US grid going? Last I heard these were special order items, each one different from all the others, all made overseas, with a lead time of many months. There was some talk about establishing agreements on several standardized transformer types and laying in a supple of ready to use replacement transformers in domestic warehouses. |

#2 My Dad had a thought many years ago to develop cottage industries in every community. I really like that idea. The only person who could pull that off would be a Trump, in my opinion. |

#1 Building your entire economy on foreign sources, most across an ocean and based in the main enemy homeland might become noticed by the ignorant masses who keep electing the democrat politicians! Only the clueless raised during the golden years of the American postwar/Cold Ware culture could be so dumb. Reindustrialize and close the borders, and spend a decade or so cleaning house if you want any chance of clinging to the promise of American Exceptionalism. Three decades of Clinton-Gore open borders browning of American and offshoring most of the industrial base has left us a hollowed shell in many ways. The hard times ahead require hard choices... |
