[KhaamaPress] Pakistain’s special representative to Afghanistan Mohammad Sadiq Khan has said that Indian wheat and medicines have been allowed to be delivered through Wagah and Torkham crossing points. Mohammad Sadiq Khan in a series of Tweeter posts said they also allowed Afghan trucks to deliver humanitarian aids. "Pakistain allowed Indian wheat and medicines to be transported to Afghanistan on a humanitarian basis. This demonstrates the commitment and seriousness of the government of Pakistain to facilitate the purposed humanitarian assistance." Reads a Twitter post. The special representative also said that the decision was conveyed to Charge d’ Affairs of India at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistain. Khan added that the Indian diplomat was urged to proceed quickly and take necessary actions in order to deliver humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan. Earlier, Indians had complained that Pakistain does not allow them to deliver their allocated humanitarian aids to Afghanistan. It is still unclear why Pakistain was hindering humanitarian assistance. |

#1 Right. So if Afghans don't have to grow their own wheat they can grow more poppies and then Paks can retail it for them. |
