#7 Hmmmm, I wonder if Executive Director Gene Seroka is affected with exotropia. That might be the reason for his low numbers; that is he sees only 1/2 of the picture... |

#6 Classic democrat technique, lie by using partial truth or modified standards. Change the definition of something and poof, problem solved. Eventually the mess is exposed, but often after the guilty have moved onward and upward and you find a way to obfuscate and blame the other side. My favorite Command-Economy disaster story comes from being the senior escort officer to the visiting Lieutenant General in Command of the newly created Ukrainian Air Force. During a cocktail hour he shared that he was a Bear Bomber Regimental Commander in the former Soviet Air Force. Careers were dependent on strict metrics dictated from above, so tracking of things was very centralized and monitored. So when operational readiness rates fell below 70 percent for the aircraft, heads would start to roll. So they falsified flight hours, but the system forecast parts and fuel consumption rates, and so parts and railroad tanker cars of jet fuel were sent to match the reported flight hour numbers. The parts were hidden all over the area, but the fuel was a problem, so they just opened the valves and let it pour into the ground under the railroad. Problem solved, until a smoker a few months in, stopped by the lake about 1/2 mile away to smoke and threw the match in to the lake, and the fire started. Apparently it burned for days and everyone was mystified... |

Port of San Diego is located in United States (USA) at 32.6734N, 117.224W. 16 vessels have arrived within the past 24 hours and 5 ships are expected to arrive in the next 30 days. Port of Portland, Oregon is located in United States (USA) at 45.5731N, 122.7024W. 24 vessels have arrived within the past 24 hours and 9 ships are expected to arrive in the next 30 days. How Long does it take to unload and leave for the next container ship? Here is a 1st hand Ship hands answer |
