#1 Given the horrendous physical violence of these 2. They were charged with only Assault in the 2nd degree. Which is a Class B felony, under ORS 163.175. While in Oregon, a person convicted of a Class B felony "could" be sentenced to up to 10 years in jail, and/or a fine up to $250,000. What do you think will happen? So place your bets. What will the Portland DA office ask the Judge for a sentencing? A few years in Jail? A few $1,000 fine and couple 100 hrs community service cleaning up Portland? Or something even more Portland DA creatively Liberal? |
