Shin Bet: Suspects named in deadly West Bank shooting are members of Islamic Jihad
[IsraelTimes] Terror group takes responsibility for last week’s attack, in which one man was killed and two were injured, outside Homesh outpost.

In the predawn hours of Sunday morning, Israeli security forces conducted a series of raids in in the northern West Bank village of Silat al-Harithiya, near Jenin, arresting at least six people in connection with the terror attack outside the illegal outpost of Homesh last Thursday, in which one man, Yehuda Dimentman, was killed and two others were lightly wounded.

Palestinian officials identified the arrestees as Muhammad Youssef Jaradat, Ibrahim Musa Tahaineh, Mahmoud Ghaleb Jaradat, Taher Abu Salah, Ghaith Ahmed Yassin Jaradat, and Omar Ahmed Yassin Jaradat.

Two of the suspects were believed to have conducted the actual shooting, while the rest were suspected of helping them and otherwise being involved in the cell.

The six men, arrested at three locations in the overnight raid, were all handed over to the Shin Bet for interrogation. The guns that were suspected of having been used in the attack, as well as the car that was allegedly used to ferry them to the scene, were seized in the raids.

3 Israelis arrested on suspicion of torching Paleostinian car in northern West Bank
[IsraelTimes] Israeli police announced on Sunday that officers had arrested three Israelis suspected of setting a Palestinian car on fire near Nablus, the Israel Police, amid a wave of terror attacks and retaliatory attacks by suspected extremist settlers.

The adult and two minors were questioned Sunday and were set to be brought for a remand hearing at the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court.

Police said in a statement that Israeli forces had noticed several people close to the car after it went up in flames at a junction near the Har Bracha settlement. Israeli soldiers detained the three suspects until police arrived and arrested them, police said.

Palestinians say 3 wounded by stone-throwing settlers near Homesh
[IsraelTimes] Three Palestinians have been wounded in a stone-throwing attack by Israeli settlers near the Homesh outpost in the northern West Bank, a Palestinian official says.

Palestinian Authority official Ghassan Daghlas, who tracks settlement activity, says in a phone call that no Palestinians were seriously injured by the stone-throwing. According to Daghlas, the Palestinians were driving their car near the entrance to Burqa, a local Palestinian town, when they were attacked.

The Israel Defense Forces says it is looking into reports of the incident. Some media reports initially indicated that one Palestinian was seriously wounded.
