Utah's richest man, tech CEO Jeff T. Green who is worth $4.6 billion, cuts ties with Mormon church
2021-12-23
... in scathing public letter where he blasts the institution for hindering global progress in women's rights, racial equality and LGBTQ+ rights
...which is, of course, why we have a Mormon Church, or any church.

#8  ^^ I'm not Catholic, but for the longest time I admired the Catholic church because it seemingly made NO effort to change its teaching even as the world around it seemed to choose a topsy turvy path.

But this latest "Pope" has me worried that even the Catholic church is going to go "woke" in a matter of a few short years.

#7  I don't understand the push to pervert "holy" writings by pretending that the God that inspired the holy writing wasn't smart enough to know times would change. Holy religious doctrine isn't supposed to change--unholy human behavior is supposed to change instead to align with scripture.

#4  Other considerations withstanding, excellent reasons to actually 'join' the Mormon church. I doubt Mr. Green's pew will grow cold or the loss of his contributions much felt.

The holy church of WOKE gains a new member.

#2  Translation. Despite his magic underwear. What Green does with his goat behind the shed is bad. But he doesn't think so.
