2021-12-31
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish forces bombarded villages of Hasaka province in northeast Syria (Rojava) late Thursday, killing at least two civilians and injuring three others, according to an official from the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

"A child and woman have bit the dust, while 3 more civilians were maimed as a result of Ottoman Turkish bombing on the villages of Til Tamer and Zirgan towns / North Hasakah city," tweeted Farhad Shami, Head of SDF Media Center.

Hawar News Agency (ANHA), affiliated to the Kurdish administration, reported that the corpse count increased to three. It added that two of them are siblings.

At least three civilians, including a mother and a daughter, were killed in a similar attack in Zirgan by Ottoman Turkish forces on December 21.

Five members of a PKK-affiliated group were killed in Rojava’s Kobane city on December 25 during a suspected Ottoman Turkish drone attack.
