| [MedRxIV preprint] My review Basically confirms general impressions. E.g., of 52k Omicron infected in Southern Cal study, only 1 fatality. Everybody vulnerable to Omicron, including acquired immunity, vaxxed and no immunity. Elderly more likely to be hospitalized. Vaxxed and acquired immunity provides some protection against more serious adverse results. Both hospitalization rate and duration much less for Omicron infected than Delta infected. |
