| ISIS member killed in Russian air raid in Deir Ez Zor |

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – An ISIS member was killed yesterday in a Russian air raid on an area run by the Iranian-backed factions in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria. The Russian aircraft targeted an ISIS member who hid near a primitive refinery in the town of Dhablan, east of Deir ez-Zor, a military source of the Syrian government forces said. The source, who preferred not to be named, added that the ISIS member did not have any documents or identity papers, and he was riding a bicycle. The Syrian government forces and the Iranian-backed factions started launching a military operation in Syria’s desert to pursue ISIS sleeper cells after the latter increased their attacks that led to significant losses among the government and Iranian forces.
