[REGNUM] At least ten people have died in the sinking of the Spanish fishing boat Villa de Pitanxo off the coast of Canada, the ABC newspaper reported Feb. 15.
The boat sank 450 km east of the Canadian island of Newfoundland. There were twenty-four sailors on board. However, at least three people were rescued.
Another eleven sailors are listed as missing. Rescuers are looking for them. The causes of the incident are being established.
