| Three children injured in detonators explosion in Afrin |

AFRIN, Syria (North Press) – Three children were wounded yesterday in an explosion of detonators placed inside a garbage container in a village of Jinderis district, in the countryside of the Turkish-controlled region of Afrin, north of Aleppo, northern Syria. Three children were wounded in the explosion, and were transferred to Afrin Hospital, a local source told North Press. The explosion took place while they were collecting hardware in the vicinity of the village. On February 14, One person was killed in the explosion of a landmine between Kimar and Soghana villages in Sherawa district, south of Afrin. The city of Afrin and its villages, northern Syria, have been controlled by Turkish forces and the affiliated factions since March 2018. Since then, the region has been witnessing ongoing security chaos accompanied by infighting among militants of the Turkish-backed factions, arrests, and kidnappings amid the factions’ disability to settle the security and spread safety.
