| Turkish shelling wounds woman in Hasakah |

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – A woman, from a village in the northern countryside of Hasakah, was wounded Sunday due to the Turkish bombardment of the area this morning. The Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed Syrian opposition factions targeted today the village of Umm al-Khair, wounding the 30-year-old Marwa Khalif. The woman was wounded by several shrapnel and was taken to a hospital in Hasakah for an urgent operation, a medical source at Legarin Hospital in Tel Tamr told North Press. This morning, the villages of Tel Shnan were subjected to continuous bombardment for about an hour, with more than 25 artillery shells and mortars, reporting material damage to property, according to an eyewitness. Later, Turkish bombardment focused on the villages of Umm al-Khair and Dashisha in the western countryside of the town of Tel Tamr. All areas on the contact lines in the northern countryside of Hasakah up to the northwestern countryside of Raqqa, are witnessing almost daily shelling by Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed Syrian opposition factions.
