17 Absurd Lies Biden Told During His State Of The Union Speech

[The Federalist] n a desperate bid to console a nation reeling from crises he created, President Joe Biden delivered his first official State of the Union Address on Tuesday.

The Democrat attempted to downplay his plummeting approval by promising to do better in his second year in office but instead offered a speech riddled with falsehoods and contradictions.

While Biden’s address was supposed to breathe new life into his presidency, Americans are meanwhile plagued with rising prices, a southern border crisis, and now an overseas conflict that leaves them feeling like "the State of our union is in crisis because of Joe Biden." Here are 17 absurd lies Biden told during his State of the Union speech.

’FREEDOM WILL ALWAYS TRIUMPH OVER TYRANNY’
Biden opened his speech by praising the lack of Covid-19 theater in the legislative chambers and claiming that "freedom will always triumph over tyranny."

The audacious claim comes just a few months after the president tried to force the coronavirus jab on American workers, pushed his administration to work with Big Tech to censor his political opponents, and smeared Republicans as domestic terrorists for caring about their children’s education.

POWERFUL SANCTIONS STOPPED RUSSIA
Days after Biden said U.S. sanctions against Russia weren’t expected to "prevent anything from happening" in the Ukraine conflict, the president claimed that he leveraged powerful punishments against Vladimir Putin, which stopped the Eastern European in his tracks.

"A Russian dictator, invading a foreign country, has costs around the world," Biden said. "And I’m taking robust action to make sure the pain of our sanctions is targeted at Russia’s economy."

Twenty-four hours before Biden’s contradictory statement, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters that the sanctions "are meant to have a deterrent impact" against Russia.

Vice President Kamala Harris, national security adviser Jake Sullivan, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and other Cabinet members also promoted sanctions as a way to stop Putin from invading Ukraine.

#11  Only for the campiness, and I suggest something other than tea or the reality of a room full of people who are trying to figure out how to rob you then kill you, with your permission, might get in the way what a whole bunch of money backed by very little talent is train wreck failure fun. Premature ejaculations. Price is Right winner's face. Awkward long arm embraces. The Cackle Sisters doing what they can to not look at each other. Totally worth the aspirin and extra cup of coffee, in that aspect. Like, they are going to tell you Biden showing up late was one of those power moves to assert dominance, nah, not at all, shit I though he fell down between the limo and the stage and hurt himself it was so long and awkward. Imagine watching Final Jeopardy, the music ques, the contestants fill in their answers, song ends...then plays again...and again...and again. Then one more time, all the while the host is trying to keep face that this is normal but the contestants are totally baffled when the third time starts.

#8  I watched it, but I don't think I fall in the category of viewer they were aiming for.

It was weird.

Was on Fox, because opposition! or whatever, and the channel prelude shouldn't count as part of the speech, but some dude went on and on explaining why people on board with W. should get on board with Biden because polling cousins or something. Switched to a better predicate for 2022, Super Troopers, until closer to showtime. Gets there, and we start running late. Real late. Neoclown runs out of things to talk about late, so real-life Ken tries to fill the air, runs out of things to say, panics and starts describing what the speech will say. Video in the capital, everyone has done their strut, said their bullshit, and they start getting the awkwards. Finally after much shuffling and escorting Biden is on stage, and he's on his 3rd pot of coffee which is weird, because he pretty much needed to be gently folded into the limo. Anyways, he gets going, and I'll leave that to transcript and call out what bullshit the content was. Like I said, 3rd pot of coffee and the pacing is off. We're breezing through pauses, interrupting applauses, and just about to sell some Micro-Machines. Couple stutters here and there, nothing too outrageous, but by golly we ain't stuttering tonight! Woot! Voice was very tin, like what you would expect from the greatest politician in history I guess. Visually it was alien to me, and maybe that is the state of technology, but I grew up in a world Vinyl, and this looked MP3, almost too crisp and saturated, almost like a filter. The Cackle Twins looked like portraits in Hogwart's Castle and like someone gave them gum to remind them to stay quiet and not give each other the stink eye. Everyone looked 2-D, and Biden kept reminding me of that visual trick used to make Kung Pow. Like, I was wanting to see some gopher-chucks come out. I think he got the full montey applause for saying he would throw a bunch of cash at The War Caucus, because for some reason, war is cool again. Cut, fade, back to real-life Ken who begins to explain why I should have liked the red carpet style event, civilly skipping the fashionable commercials that particular channel ran in the lead up, but I'm faster and click off, go to bed, late because better rating at west coast prime time, second nap, whatever.
