This statement by a Russian Prisoner of War clearly made willingly and with touchin
2022-03-08

Meanwhile, back home in Russia: an answer to the claim made here yesterday evening in comments that The people of Russia wouldn't support this evil invasion if they knew reality. An interesting thread — worth scrolling down. I’d love our Russian visitors to share their thoughts about it all.

#12  I think I have found the best summary of events to this point:

#11  Does Geneva Convention allow for pows to be used as such?

Didn't read the small print? - Only applies to the United States

Not to be confused with those who 'make it up' when playing the denounce America game. Can you please cite the part of the Conventions you make your claim on?

#10  Classic gummint propaganda: Anti this means pro that. Ayn Rand called it "package dealing."

#9   They will soon need to be rounding up people who don't think the US should go to war.

It's starting. First step: social media giants flagging users as "spreading pro-Russian" views. Second step: College kids are now reporting they're afraid to say anything that in any way goes against the War Party's narratives.

Next will be forced participation in employers' virtue-signaling theatrics. And then the FBI cracking down on dissent. Think of Woodrow Wilson and the Palmer Raids -- with all the coercive power and surveillance capabilities of the modern digital police state

#6  I have not watched the video, but the title alone makes it suspect in that it primes the viewer for a certain conclusion as to the authenticity. Maybe I'm just cynical from too much Hollywood Mainstream Media, but as badanov said the other day, no one is wearing angel wings here.

#5  This is why COVID was shoved aside. They will soon need to be rounding up people who don't think the US should go to war.

#4  Authorities launched a propaganda campaign to gain popular support for their invasion of Ukraine and they're getting lots of it.

Yeah, try watching CBS these days.

The bullcrap is flying so thick from all sides it'll take a hundred years to uncover the truth.

#3  Sum of All Fears, and the movie is absolutely unwatchable.

Authorities launched a propaganda campaign to gain popular support for their invasion of Ukraine and they're getting lots of it.

Garsh.

#2  I'm trying to recall here. Was the Tom Clancy book to movie modified to change the villains from Muslim terrorist to nationalist Russian oligarchs setting off a nuke device? Wasn't it a Call of Duty game that starts a world war done by a nationalist Russian oligarch?

#1  We should never listen to prisoners. They are under a real unique set of stressors. All the John Wayne, I'll die before talking bullshit, is just that and people react, its never good. He is being exploited and used. This should not happen and don't believe a word of it.
