DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, a member of the government forces was deadly shot by gunmen in the western countryside of Daraa. “Ali Nur al-Din al-Malkawi, a member of the Military Security Branch of the government forces, was killed deadly shot by unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle in the town of Sahem al-Golan in the western countryside of Daraa,” a local source told North Press. “The 35-year-old al-Malkawi was a former member of the opposition factions, and reconciled with the government forces in 2018. He then joined the Military Security Branch of the government forces,” the source added. Recently, Daraa governorate has witnessed many cases of killing of dozens of people, with no serious procedures taken by the security branches to reveal the perpetrators. |
