[IsraelTimes] Singapore’s Foreign Minister announces the Asian country will open an embassy in Israel.Vivian Balakrishnan, visiting from the city-state, breaks the news in a meeting with Foreign Minister Yair Lapid. "I welcome the government of Singapore’s decision to open an embassy in Israel for the first time since the establishment of relations. This represents another testament to the good and unique relations between the countries," says Lapid. The two countries have had diplomatic relations since 1965, and have since developed close security and business ties. |
