| IED injures Turkish-backed faction’s leader in north Syria |

ALEEPO COUNTRYSIDE, Syria (North Press) – A leader of the Turkish-backed Military Police faction was injured, on Monday evening, as a result of an IED explosion in the city of Jarablus east of Aleppo, north Syria. A local source told North Press that the leader Abou Al-Baraa suffered minor injuries caused by an IED that was planted in his car. The source added that the leader is working in the investigation department affiliated with the Military Police faction in the city. With explosions, murders, and kidnapping taking place regularly, the areas held by the Turkish-backed factions witness a state of insecurity amid failure of the factions to settle the condition there. It should be noted that Jarablus has been controlled by the Turkish-backed opposition factions since 2016. Reporting by Farouq Hamo |
