| [MAIL] Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to change tactics and focus his firepower on the east of Ukraine, according to Western officials, abandoning plans to seize vase swathes of his neighbouring country. When Russia unleashed its multi-pronged invasion on February 24, a swift toppling of Ukraine and it democratically elected government seemed likely. But with Wednesday marking four full weeks of fighting, Russia is bogged down in a grinding military campaign, and is being pushed back in some regions. The slow Russian progression has seemingly taken the Kremlin by surprise, and Western officials have said that Moscow made a 'catastrophic miscalculation'. As such, it is expected that Russia will change its military tactics in Ukraine and instead consolidate its supplies and logistical efforts in the eastern Donbas region. Speaking to The Times, one western official said Ukraine's intelligent resistance had 'derailed' Russia's flawed plans, which had at the heart of them the assumption that Ukrainians would allow Russia to roll into their country without much of a fight. |

| #4 Putin is not exactly my hero, because as an American I have been brainwashed by my criminal government, but I cannot blame him for reacting to the provocations brought on by the US cia and NATO. criminals We would not tolerate bioweapons labs, covert weapons transfers, and Neo NAZI sitting at our doorstep either. Instead we have no problem by being invaded by a horde of illegal aliens from all over the world, drugs coming across the border in tractor trailer loads, human/child trafficking and cartels running a narco state. But God forbid Putin starts taking care of business in the Ukraine. Then we need to do everything in our power and checkbook to make it stop. And the reason is - because the cabal/NWO sees their honey pot being exposed and shut down. I think if the USA start a war with Russia because Ukraine many Americans politicians and journalists and security executives will meet their maker, political vengeance assassinations will be the normal in USA |

| #2 Odds are those were the actual strategic goals. he got those and went for more so that he could get them easily in any kind of peace resolution. I suspect on that front it all worked as planned. However the drive stalled and created all sorts of additional complications going forward that i don't think Putin is going to like. |
