President Biden's Putin speech in Poland is a catastrophe
2022-03-28
[NYPOST] He came, he saw, he confused.

Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body....
’s call-to-arms speech in Poland was long on soaring rhetoric about the virtues of democracy but woefully short on what more the West will do to help Ukraine defeat the Russian invasion. But by the time he got to the finish, most of that was forgotten.

What mattered most and what will be remembered for a long time was a single line the president of the United States said about the president of Russia: "For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power."

In the context of the speech and the slaughter of Ukrainian civilians, it’s impossible to understand that line as anything other than a call for regime change, a move that would dramatically raise the stakes with Russia at a time when Biden has been at pains to lower them.

It also raises the question of whether toppling Putin, a subject never before mentioned by the White House, is suddenly the new policy of the United States and NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions...
Ah, no.

Shortly after the speech, a Biden aide told pool news hounds that "the president’s point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region. He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia, or regime change."

#18   It's not cute to those of us on the front lines of Joe's Nuclear War here in Europe. Macron, Boris Johnson and Scholz aren't smiling. They all want to slap Biden and shut him the fuck up

No doubt. We feel the same. But how many of those on that front line now upset about President Biden — including Europe’s politicians — loathed President Trump, worked to stymie his initiatives, and prayed that he would not be reelected?

#16  The deal about US troops being in Ukraine wasn't exactly keen either. We are:

a)Operating at the level of a potato and just confused.
b)Saying the quiet stuff out loud, because he is a potato
c)Doesn't matter if he was on or off script, telling truths or not, because the whole purpose of the speech was intended to increase war tensions, to provoke an escalated response.

#14  Putin will be smiling as he sits in the Kremlin watching on TV as Biden gets frog marched from the White House.

Smiling too while he dictates terms to Zelensky in Jerusalem. No coincidence that right after Biden's total faceplant, Zelensky's hysterically begging for peace.

#11   "I am a custard filled pastry"!

I can imagine Biden saying that when he wanders off into broken tape recorder mode.

#10  I remember that moment, and learning afterwards that it actually meant "I am a custard filled pastry"!

#8  I don't see a guy who's into lockdowns, mask mandates, vaxx mandates, firing people who won't get jabbed and promoting big tech censorship being much of a stalwart for freedom.

#4  Its cute how we now have an unelected vegetable as President, and his "handlers" have to *routinely* state that he didn't say the things he clearly says.

#3  Putin is a war criminal. Biden is criminally stupid.
Putin is killing Ukrainians. Biden's incompetence will kill millions around the world.
