| Day 46 Preparation for Battle of Donbas |

| Ukraine has sent reinforcements to the Donbas Front. Ukraine has not yet sent ground troops into Russia but has control of a long stretch of the border and could do so at any time. Russia has made some advance near Ukrainian held Avdievka perhaps planning an invasion toward the major city of Dnipro or else faking such an action. Russia took another few city blocks of Mariupol. Neither side initiated any sustained ground action in the south. |

| #1 Both sides are positively medieval. And there's nothing romantic about Medieval Russia. |
