#7 Hope they activated their U.K. mobile phones. Onward Cretin Soldiers! British volunteer fighters may have triggered deadly strike on Ukrainian base after their phones were detected The Telegraph has learned that 12 to 14 phone numbers starting with +44 were visible to surveillance equipment before the missile strike |

#6 Are they on 'Active Duty' indeed? I have read that there was a custom of SAS members being granted leave to 'moonlight' on private contracts, such as acting as guards and/or trainers in places in the Middle East like Oman... The understanding was that they weren't supposed to embarrass the Crown while doing so and the contacts/experience they would acquire was seen as a plus if/when the returned to the SAS Regiment later on. |

#5 I seriously doubt the validity of the reports. Brits are not stupid like Americans are bragging about X and Y. They are training Uke soldiers, in Poland. This report is probably a propaganda plant by the UK to make Putin think NATO forces are making a move into Ukraine. He needs to believe that. |

#2 I have seen reports that British SAS and American special forces were in Ukr before this all jumped off. Possibly part of what made the Russians twitchy? |
