#5 Oh global famine is coming. This is the winter wheat that was harvested and shipped before the war and was sitting around as Odessa was blockaded. There will be little planting in the east of Ukraine this season and by fall/winter, the wheat shortage in North Africa and the Middle East will be severe. |

#3 When we say "global famine", we don't mean global global famine. It's more like global localized shortages as the supply chains reconfigure, which is kinda sorta like a mini-famine. Also, we are using 'global' in the hair-on-fire sense of the word. |
