Nationalists in Ukraine hold 90 foreigners hostage
[REGNUM] Dozens of foreign citizens are still being held hostage as human shields by nationalists in Ukraine. This was announced on May 2 by Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev , head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, at a briefing.
“ Ukrainian nationalists continue to hold 90 foreign citizens from five states hostage as human shields ,” he said.
As REGNUM reported on May 2, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov , said at a briefing that the aviation of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia had hit another 13 strongholds of Ukraine in a day.
