[Regnum] The ceremony of reburial of the remains of Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War took place on May 4 in the village of Dergachi in Sevastopol. The event was attended by a photojournalist of IA REGNUM .
The ceremony was attended by representatives of search teams, authorities, schoolchildren, and public figures.
The remains of the fighters were discovered during search operations, which are traditionally carried out in the spring, on the eve of Victory Day.
In total, the remains of 291 defenders of the Fatherland were buried in the earth - the reburial took place with full military honors.
It was possible to establish the names of 11 dead soldiers. The remains of three of them will be transferred to their homeland, Georgia, for subsequent reburial.
