Unknown warplane targeted on Saturday a military post of Iranian-backed militias in the city of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria, which resulted in the killing and injury of dozens. Iranian-backed militias control vast areas of the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor after the military defeat of the ISIS in late 2017. A military source of the National Defense Forces (NDF), an armed militias affiliated with the Syrian government forces, said that an unknown warplane bombarded three military posts of the Iranian-backed militias and the NDF in the city of Deir ez-Zor, killing and injuring more than ten members.
