#3  Fighter planes are for establishing and maintaining control of the air so the bombers can get into the fight. You don't operate bombers without fighters around.

#2   The USA since 1917 has been attempting to dismember the Russian empire and will continue to for obvious reasons.

It's been the proper course since then, too and is now.

Hopefully when Putin has to jump in his doomsday jet they re-purchased all the stolen electronics from it!

#1  It so weird, like this group has been trying to start a war against Russia since Russia backed Assad against "Arab Spring Forces".

Of course with Obama is could have also been a flight deterrent against Israel to Iran.
