Ukraine's Electric Cavalry: The E-Bikes Being Used In Battle
2022-05-25
[Radio Free Europe] Ukrainian fighters are ushering in a new era of battlefield tactics by using powerful locally designed electric bikes.

The image below of a packaged NLAW anti-tank missile mounted to what looks like an off-road motorcycle in Ukraine is causing a buzz in tech media. The two-wheeled vehicle is, in fact, an electric bicycle, and represents a historic tactical advancement in warfare.

#9  You know back in college I was with my brother and we found a copy of the book BICYCLES IN WAR by Martin Caidin. Seems this book started by some comments about a joke warfare book idea. When Mr Caidin started to do research he found they have been used in every war since their invention. See also Japanese invasion of Malaya.

#5  Ukraine forces have adapted to the situation.

Russian forces had, at least initially, trouble with basic things such as logistics, air/land force coordination, etc.
