| #3 How does Turkey afford I imagine they’ve been spending down the loot confiscated when all those Gulenists were arrested, bman. And they’ve been getting direct gifts from Saudi Arabia, et al. Finally, there have been regular payoffs since 2016 or 2017 from the EU to keep the “Syrian” refugees from escaping west. The shortfall has been made up with promissory notes, I suspect. |
