UNEXPECTEDLY! Panel Rules Trump Can Be Indicted!
2022-06-13
[NYP] Members of the House select committee investigating last year’s riot at the US Capitol on Sunday claimed they have enough evidence for federal prosecutors to indict former President Donald Trump.
I must confess, looking at that graphic brings the spirit of slap over me like a dark cloud.
California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff called for the Justice Department to "investigate any credible allegation of criminal activity, on the part of Donald Trump or anyone else."

"The rule of law needs to apply equally to everyone," Schiff said on ABC’s "This Week."
Then his lips fell off.
"There are certain actions, parts of these different lines of effort to overturn the election that I don’t see evidence the Justice Department is investigating," he said
I agree, Adam!
More evidence will be released when the hearings continue this week, and the committee said that Trump’s campaign manager, Bill Stepien, is among the witnesses set to testify on Monday.

"Once the evidence is accumulated by the Justice Department, it needs to make a decision about whether it can prove to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt the president’s guilt or anyone else’s," Schiff said Sunday. "But they need to be investigated if there’s credible evidence, which I think there is."
He has all the evidence, but he can't show it to us.
The committee broadcast a dramatic montage of video clips from the riot in their primetime hearing on Thursday, which was watched by more than 20 million people.
That count must include nine million dead (D) voters.
Last week, Biden said that he believed the hearing would show a "flagrant violation of the Constitution."

#17  It will be telling to see how long the media folks fall on their swords to go after Trump.

#16  Does anyone really believe anything this Soviet-style show trial comes up with? It is one very smelly croc of shit.

#15  Little more than a media and democratic cover for a wrecked economy and failed administration.

An insult to kangaroos everywhere.

#14  Back to #7 - I saw a couple of articles a few days ago that said the total viewers for kangaroo court for the big three networks totaled 11 million, as opposed to the normal 20 million watching in that time slot.

#13  Plus they subpeoned the campaign manager of Liz Cheney's opponent. The fix is in.

#12  A rerun of Young Sheldon got more viewers than th Kangaroo Court.

#11  The DC court that acquitted Michael Sussmann is just the venue that Schifferbrains needs for this little scheme of his. He's playing a very dangerous game, though, because in 2024 the tables might very well be turned.

#10  A group that violated the voting/civil rights of over 78 Millions US citizens.

Which means out of 300 million + American people, 220 million don't care about this corruption at all. And the corrupt politicians know that.

#9  I don't know why I'd have any more belief in those "viewership" numbers than I do in COVID statistics or National Park Service "estimates" of crowd sizes.

Which is to say, "not much."

#8  Democrat leadership would go to prison for voter fraud if they don't come after Trump "or anyone else" who would expose the big sham if anyone outside The Swamp were elected again.

#7  That 20 mil number of viewers is about equal to all the evening network news watchers together (ABC, NBC, CBS — but not Fox), plus a few strays.

#6  Rep. Adam Schiff called for the Justice Department to "investigate any credible allegation of criminal activity, on the part of Donald Trump or anyone else."

and what if there were criminal activity on the part of Schiff

#5  Since when the hell does the law apply to everyone the same. If that was so everyone of the bastards would be swinging from a rope.

#4  GOPe will not punish anyone for these abuses on the grounds that they don't want to open the door to being treated the same way.

Oh, wait...

#3  Of course the rules in an actual court are a little different. Right to a Defense. Right to Witnesses. Cross examination. Perjury. A cross examination of Adam "the Liar" Schiff or Liz might be entertaining.

But then that's not the point. An indictment might prevent Trump from running in '24 - I'm suspect they have a federal Judge all lined up to rule on it.

OF course they may then end up with a Trump endorsed and supported DeSantis.

As any Coup d'état unravels, they typically resort to Kangaroo courts and staged investigations with the help of their controlled and run Media.

With mid-term and 2024 elections just around the corner, they know they must figure out some way of covering up / overshadowing the fact they are noting more than a Coup d'état and not a duly elected government. A group that violated the voting/civil rights of over 78 Millions US citizens.

So, it is common for Coup d'état members to falsely accuse & imprisons those that present the facts or legal challenges their illegal authority.

May those replacing them follow US Law and their Oaths of office, while investigating those that attempted to subvert US Law and the US Constitution.
