#7  Some key points lost on many American readers, the unspoken aspect is that the girls were disproportionately white and the "Asian" perpetrators were overwhelmingly Muslim, Pakistani immigrants.
Get that context and the fear of "racism", "Islamaphobia", and "racial unrest" by management
adds a more complex aspect to apparent corruption.


IIRC, some police were in on it, with protection and even recommendations.

#1  Seems that 'democracies' can't find the will to fire its employees. However, it can basically throw out the protection and safeguards for its citizens when it feels like it. This is the 'democracy' that Nancy and Brandon claim others want to destroy.
