| #5 All we have here is a politicians wet dream. Asia is the powerhouse. There is the future. Smiles and back slaps will not security make. Besides who needs them. The energy and natural resources are in Russia. Russia, China, India, Africa, Arab world and Latin America. Israel would be the pearl to add to this necklace. As the west grows weaker and indecisive with a weak leader such a Biden leaves the door open for new people who can lead. I don't see that happening in the west. The EU are mere shadow of their former selves. |

| #3 It sounds dramatic, but I doubt Putin gives a poot about Finland joining NATO. Finland would already be on the Other Side if general festivities break out (see History), but Western tanks will not be streaming across the Fin-Rus border and the area is easily defended. |
