Young George Dunnett builds 'tiny home' in village of Kinneswood
2022-07-07
[Insider] There were plenty of nice houses in the village, but this building was one of the few that was left to crumble. The cottage was old and weathered, and the masonry walls were full of cracks.

"It was kind of dilapidated, so I always thought it was a bit of a shame that it was left to this condition," Dunnett, a 28-year-old video editor, told Insider.

Even so, he could see the potential the home had.

#4  Stone mason did excellent work. Tuck pointing that much rock would be a tedious job.

#3  Not sure about the bookkeeper, but I think I could be happy there, if it was in walking distance to some pub grub.

#2  I think it looks great. They did a nice clean job, given what they had to work with. Exterior stonemason did really well, in my opinion.

Would not be my choice with interior design, but what they have uses the spaces efficiently.

#1  Renovated a rock house once.
Previous owner didn't want to pay for a garbage service so he packed the crawl space with trash bags. Painted the windows shut. Had a huge gun safe next to the bed to sag the floor.

A lovely riverside farm.
