Horrifying moment woman, 48, pours gasoline over man and sets him on FIRE after an argument in California park |

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] An observation: In the video at the link it appears Ms Castillo tried half a dozen times to light him up before it worked... and the entire time her victim just stood there instead of attacking her or running away. A question: How many of the parties involved were either mentally ill or frequent flyers through the justice system?

#6 Someone gave the woman the fluid. It was in a cup, so could have been lighter fluid. |

#5 The headline makes it sound random, yet they had a container of gas ready to go. Not lighter fluid which might make sense in a park with BBQ but gas. That sounds pre-meditated. Of course journalism these days is terrible, this reads like 'saw the video online, called the police for comment, and published, type journalism. They didn't even spell Thursday right in the first bullet point so they couldn't be bothered to spell check so who knows. |

#4 The moment she pulls out gasoline and tries to pour is when you shoot. And yes, if splashed then go to knife (Which I have, bought a 4.5" blade) and my keychain is a monkey fist with a 1" steel ball bearing in it. But at 52 this year, going hand to hand isn't my first choice. Better to choose distance and a gun over knife/club. |

#3 Brick, if you're soaked in gasoline, I'd use a knife, not a firearm. |

#2 Crap like this is why I carry a gun. |

#1 I'm surprised the city didn't just charge them with wasting an invaluable and scarce fossil fuel. |
