[ZeroHedge] Thought provoking, though I wonder if it is still realistic to project China surpassing America by the end of the decade, given their current growing financial problems: bank runs, bankruptcies and domestic speculation balloons popping, Covid lockdowns disrupting production, and the world seeking to diversify after China as a supplier proved problematic over the past two years, even as their belt and road project is becoming less popular abroad as the exploitative aspects are discovered. |

#3 China's high water mark was near 2018. COVID, people not trusting them, demographic issues (China is the fastest aging population in human history) and a energy supply chain that is the most exposed in the world does not make for optimistic forecasts for the nation. |
