With Central Canada and Siberia having colder than usual air in the middle of the year (2022) leading to the 2022-2023 winter cycle. There are a number of Weather Guessers predicting a repeat of the snow and ice storms seen in the 1970's.

Right about now, I bet many in the EU are having a change of mind about being an Eco-tree hugger friendly Mother-Earth type, vs having Nuke &/or Coal Power Plants to cool and warm their butts.

IF predictions pan out for Winter temps, during the Solar Minimum. There will be a lot of old buildings and sheds looted for burnable fuels?

#2  I remember many years ago, some mayor in Dallas decreed (sorta tongue in cheek) that Fridays in the summer should be necktie free Fridays. Of course, he was not responding to an energy crisis, as I recall.
