[REGNUM] A total of 69 foreign ships from 15 countries of the world remain blocked in the seaports of Ukraine, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev , head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, said at a briefing on the evening of August 1 .
Vessels are blocked in the ports of Nikolaev, Chernomorsk, Ochakov, Odessa and Yuzhny.
Recall that on August 1, the port of Odessa was able to leave the first foreign vessel. This became possible within the framework of a multilateral agreement between Russia, Turkey, the UN and Ukraine.
Nevertheless, the danger from Ukrainian sea mines remains in the waters of almost all Black Sea states.

[REGNUM] Ukrainian mines torn from anchor are drifting along the coast of the Black Sea states, creating a danger to navigation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the National Center for Defense Control of the Russian Federation, said at a briefing on the evening of August 1.
"There is also a danger to navigation and damage to port infrastructure from the drift of Ukrainian mines torn from anchor along the coast of the Black Sea states," he said.
Mizintsev noted that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have organized the operation of two maritime humanitarian corridors for the safe movement of ships.
"As part of the implementation of the “Initiative of Mutual Understanding for the Safe Transportation of Grain from the Ports of Ukraine" on July 30, 2022 in Istanbul by the Joint Coordination Center for ensuring the safe passage of ships, their inspection, resolving issues of mine clearance and preventing dangerous incidents (Russian Federation, Republic of Turkey, Ukraine and the UN) developed and agreed on the route of the humanitarian corridor for the safe movement of ships carrying out the export of grain crops and mineral fertilizers from the ports of Ukraine," he added.
