#4 Most places in Arizona, including Phoenix, do not have storm sewers (because why?) So if you do get a heavy rain, which does happen once in a blue moon, there is flooding. However, since Arizona is so, well, arid, the floodwaters dry up pretty quickly, and an hour later it's dry again. |

#3 I need to overseed my lawn. The "experts" say we will get decent rain every day for the next 5 days. I won't actually go out to seed the lawn until the rain starts, and then only if there's no serious lightning. |
