Ukraine 'blows up Wagner HQ in Donbas' after Russian propagandist gave away its location and 'revealed mercenary group's owner dubbed ‘’Putin's Chef’’ was there'
2022-08-15
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Sergei Sreda, a so-called 'war reporter' and Russian propagandist, visited Wagner HQ in Ukraine last week

  • He posted photos on Telegram, saying he was welcomed 'like family' by fighters who told him 'funny stories'

  • But one photo gave away the base's location after Sreda accidentally captured a sign with an address on it

  • Ukraine says it used photo to locate the base and hit it with HIMARS, with strike confirmed on Sunday
Sreda's visit also seems to have coincided with a visit to the frontline by Yevgeny Prigozhin, an oligarch who owns Wagner and has been dubbed 'Putin's chef' because he rose to prominence throwing lavish banquets for the Russian leader.

Unconfirmed reports that have emerged on Telegram claim that Prigozhin has not been seen since seen the strike, and those who know him are in a 'mild panic'.

#10  RUMINT says:
There are pix of Prigozhin in a still-alive state. Also, British intelligence did the geo-locating based on the reporter's pic and passed the info on to the Ukrainians.

#2  The Russian speaking separatists learned early on that the Ukrainians monitor the internet for their bullshit, and thus became very aware of electronic warfare being conducted against them.

Costly lessons.

Now, the Russians get to learn the same lessons.
