#13  But it's generally better to buy new stuff, with case and cleaning kit and all. You never know what the used thingy you're buying has been involved in. Currently the stuff from AFG is the best. And vendors will deliver to the 'Stain easily, from where they'll arrange a 'courier' anywhere from the UAE to Iran to the UK. Your DoS sock puppets there are busy cleaning their stock by the way. I was told they'll bid highest at auctions and there's an inside joke in AFG on how to spot such buyers and make them pay more.

#12  A real Gundam Suit would have both.

Anyone know how much a grenade launcher goes for?

May want to check out the post down in the Page 5 Warehouse - just ask for John McClain. But I didn't say nothin', see?

#11  My friend bought an M79 blooper for $700, Mercutio. He sold it after using it. That's how you use and re-sell, so same stuff is circulated sometimes. Often, the vendor can buy back for half the price. There's double action launchers too like MGLs, or UBLs for a grand and thereabouts.

But this is all nothing. I once witnessed the purchase of a judge. An actual sitting judge of a neighbouring country. 🤪

#8  For Search and Rescue, I presume.

I believe the one in Runaway had a .357?

#7  Don't "patrol." Suppress, interdict and deny access - with extreme prejudice.

#6  Interesting.
I'm building mine with 3-120 degree wireless cameras fed by the Roomba battery for a hallway patrol device that also cleans.

#5  a Roomba with a claymore!

Almost got 'er done, Rob.

Still working on the extendable spikes that keep the little bugger in place during 'discharge'.

#3  I would have enjoyed attending. For hyperbole as well as bleeding edge tech the SOFEX show in Amman and SOFIC in Tampa are a lot of fun. And visiting with the attendees is very interesting

#2   vykhlop

No learning is wasted... You probably weren’t the only one asking for the silly thing. In America that would be a serious marketing opportunity.

#1  Went to this arms expo thingy in Russia sometime back, and they had this odd robocop-ish mech with minigun, grenade launcher, a bayonet, oh my. It was one of the newer companies, like Trion or something.

So anyway, I discerned right away it was a really big guy in a metal suit with pointless hydraulics and cabling, like a very serious cosplayer y'know? And I asked our escort about it, politely of course.

The MO guy knocked the thing about to show us it was a deadly machine. Now the guy inside was already tired and pissed holding up that thingamajig, and sweating indide. The MO guy was a little displeased with me because the presentation had said something about 'fighter robots of the fyoochurrr!' And everyone had bought it so far.

My pal meanwhile was whispering in my ear, 'That poor bastard inside.' 🙃

Then the guy regained his composure and went on to say that it was an... uhh, exoskeleton suit! A state of the art, mystery battery powered, full armour with weapons and shit.

We wanted to move on and give the poor guy inside it some reprieve but the ministry asshole went on about it. I finally chirped, 'I want to see the new vykhlop! Do you have that here?'
