ISIS appoints new leader for Saudi-occupied Taiz region of Yemen

(ISIS) has appointed an emir of the so-called "Taiz Wilayat" in the Saudi-led coalition-held areas of Taiz city, pro-coalition media outlets reported.

This came a few hours after the terrorist organization announced the appointment of Khaibar al-Sawdani as the emir of Hadhramout province, which has been witnessing unprecedented tension for days between the coalition factions.

The organization appointed the so-called "Abu Hammam al-Tazi" as the emir of the so-called "Taiz Wilayat" last month, and took al-Turbah area, the center of al-Shamaitain district of Taiz, to use as a den for carrying out and staging terrorist acts, according to the UAE-funded Aden TV.
