Farewell to Allahpundit at Hot Air
2022-09-02
[Hot Air] GTFO Eeyore
...But after I posted the news on Twitter that I’d be leaving Hot Air, I got a call from Steve Hayes at the Dispatch. Would you be interested in writing for us, he asked? Uh, yes, I’d be interested. I’ve enjoyed the Dispatch since it launched and was reading Steve, Jonah Goldberg, and David French for years before that.

#11  I believe he got a job at Bill Crystal's new outfit.

#10  You mean he's just leaving? I'm sure he'll show up on CNN just like all the other so called conservatives in his vein.

When you agree with the enemy, you ARE the enemy.

#9  Especially because that dope Driscoll kept flogging Treacher, I totally abandoned Insty, also, some time ago.

#8  Allahpundit, Jonah Goldberg and Max Boot were all neocons. Democrats that became Republicans of convenience under the Bush's.

The pro-war sentiment is not conservative.

#7  After reading (quote) pundits (un-quote) like Allahpundit, Jonah Goldberg or Max Boot I am even more confused about what Conservatismâ„¢ is than before I encountered them. As Inigo Montoya says "You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means."

#6  Regrettably, too many people believe Hot Air, Red State and Last Refuge are conservative outlets.

#5  "My takes may be terrible but I make it up on volume."

Twitter Addiction is ugly.

His addlement first appeared during The Bundy Ranch incident.

His legacy will is being so far in the tank for Covid and Procedures that fish fed him.

An incurious approach to ponderous thinking hidden behind peer pressure tactics.

#3  "My takes may be terrible but I make it up on volume."

So he doubled down on stupid and brags about it. Then goes on to point out the GOP stood for nothing but power but blames Trump when Trump was trying to fix that and actually went a long way in the job fighting friend and foe at every juncture. Truly confused fellow.

#2  It wasn't an obit. I'm disappointed...

#1  Good. Trump derangement broke his brain years ago.
