Firstly we keep them fed on such hot diversity, they practically live in the lavatory. The little time they get to do their handshakes and speeches, they are loaded with garlands, made to sit through dances, bollywood celebrities, a lot of sentiment about loyalty to country and gods... by the time they leave they have a clear sense of having achieved much personally. But they never get to any agenda as it were. Status quo. India wrote the book on maintaining it. |
