2022-09-08 | |

#27 This appears to be the source for the 'Ukes are on the GLOC from Kupiansk to Izium' report: https://nitter.net/noclador/status/1568014397578137604#m including some interpretation of what it might mean. Salt to taste: No military vehicles are in sight, this could be partisan or pure info op. They do have a drone and someone with a head for heights! |

#26 They must have broken through the defensive lines to get at that level of command (or said LTG was being very stupid). Embrace the power of AND. |

#25 Yikes! Looks like Ukr bagged a LTG, commander of that segment of the front: https://nitter.net/LvivJournal/status/1567974442856513536#m They must have broken through the defensive lines to get at that level of command (or said LTG was being very stupid). |

#24 Russian military movement in Svatove. Looks like they are bringing up reinforcements as fast as they can. |

#23 Yes, well, it was a Russian that claimed they were amphib right? There's your answer right there. |

#22 BMPs are s'posed to be amphibious. Supposed to be. I think Major Mud had some different ideas for those. |

#19 Russians ran 3 BMPs into a river in the north. Post says Karhkiv, but it geolocates in the north. Either way BMPs stuck in river no fun. |

#18 #16 based on the various reports, Ukraine seems to have gained 5-15km in some places. They fought their way into artillery range. |

#17 Oh boy! Sounds like the gains they used to make in WWI...at the cost of how many lives? That is how it has been. High tech WWI style war. Hopefully this breakthrough in the north can go farther and cut off the Russians in Izium. |

#15 if Ukraine reached Kupiansk city (rather than just the province), it would be more like a 50 km advance at that point |

#14 based on the various reports, Ukraine seems to have gained 5-15km in some places. Russian military correspondent Aleksandr Kots says it was 20 km, and that the Ukrainians are bypassing built up areas. |

#12 Ukrainian military liberated Balakliia from Russian occupation |

#11 Occupation authorities in Kupiansk say that Russian army began to defend the city, and additional reinforcement entered the region from Russia This is huge. That is a major supply hub supplying some 10-15,000 troops in Izium. The only real road and rail line south go through Kupiansk. Looks like Ukraine was playing rope a dope with Russia by focusing on the south and pulling Russian troops away from the north, then punching through with heavy armor and mechanized forces. |

#1 Igor Girkin says the Ukrainians already bypassed Shevchenkove and are advancing to Kupyansk. If successful will cut the road and rail supply lines to the Izium front. |
