According to investigators, Elmar Muradzade provided support to a terrorist organization banned in Russia from August 2020 to April 25, 2021. He also made five money transfers totaling 6.5 thousand rubles for Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham*.

"In accordance with the court's verdict, the defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of nine years in a penal colony with the first three years in prison," Interfax quoted the press service as saying.
