#3  Part of the problem with 'nuking' is that there is a lot of hype and myth associated with it. Mass formations probably, but if you disperse enough it becomes very localized in its application. You in turn need concentrations to exploit any localized tactical advantage.

Contamination is a two way street where it is applied. Winds go west to east, so does the fallout.
