| Palestinian gets 9-year sentence for years of terror activity in several Gazan groups |

| [IsraelTimes] The Beersheba District Court sentences a Paleostinian man to nine years in prison after convicting him of harming national security by being a member of multiple Gazook terror groups for several years. The court says Salem Abu Daher served in several roles over the years in the groups, from minor roles to being an instructor and even initiating and carrying out terror attacks. The ruling says Abu Daher’s activity "escalated" after he joined Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... and took part in rocket launches at Israel. |
