[Vesti] The threat of air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine remains
Russian troops continue to focus their efforts on attempts to completely occupy the Donetsk region and the maintenance of the occupied territories, as well as disrupting the active operations of the defense forces in certain areas. This is stated in the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00 Sunday, September 25, 2022.
The occupiers are shelling the positions of our troops along the line of confrontation, are conducting aerial reconnaissance, and are trying to restore lost positions in certain directions.
The Russian army continues to strike at civilian infrastructure and peaceful residential areas. The threat of air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine remains.
During the day, the invaders launched 4 missile and 7 air strikes, carried out more than 24 attacks with MLRS on military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine, violating the norms of international humanitarian law, the laws and customs of warfare.
More than 35 settlements suffered from enemy fire. Among them are Kupyansk, Belogorovka, Controversial, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, New York, Krasnogorovka, Kurakhovo, Novomikhailovka, Pavlovka, Zaporozhye, Vladimirovskoye, Ochakov, Nikolaev, Mirolyubovka, Novovoznesenskoye, Dry Pond and Odessa. In the Volyn and Polesye directions, the situation has not changed significantly.
In other directions, the enemy fired from tanks, mortars and cannon artillery:
in the Seversky direction - in the areas of the settlements of Guta-Studenetska and Bleshnya of the Chernihiv region and Bachevsk, Shalygino and Seredina Buda of the Sumy region;
in the Slobozhansky direction - in the areas of the settlements of Strelka, Guryev Kazachok, Stognia, Udy, Veterinary and Kupyansk;
in the Kramatorsk direction - Slavyansk, Korovoi Yar, Bogorodichnoe, Yarovaya, Prishib and Ozernoe;
in the Bakhmut direction - Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoye, Odradovka, Zaitsevo, Experimental, Yakovlevka, New York, Mayorsk, Nelipovka, Yuryevka, Vyemka, Belogorovka, Razdolovka, Controversial, Veseloe and Verkhnekamenskoye;
in the Avdeevka direction - Avdeevka, Opytnoe, Pervomaiskoye, Vodyanoye, Krasnogorovka, Novomikhailovka, Maryinka and Praskovievka;
in the Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directions, 18 settlements were subjected to shelling, in particular, Nikolskoye, Ugledar, Prechistovka, Zolotaya Niva, Bolshaya Novoselka, Novomayorskoye, Vremovka, Pavlovka, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Shevchenko, Belogorye, Poltavka, Novoselka, Novopol, Temirovka, Vremovka, Krasnoye and Olgovskoe;
in the Yuzhnobugsky direction, more than 38 settlements, not far from the collision line, suffered from artillery and mortar shelling. In particular, Novovoznesenskoye, Arkhangelskoye, Dry Pond, Pervomayskoye, Manganets and Nikopol.
In order to conduct reconnaissance, adjust fire and strike at civilian infrastructure facilities, the enemy made up to 60 UAV sorties.
In connection with the partial mobilization announced by the Russian military-political leadership, since September 22, the military commissariats of the Russian Federation have been working around the clock. Persons who try to evade mobilization are threatened with criminal liability.
In the city of Sevastopol in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, about a thousand summonses were handed to men of military age. Representatives of the occupying troops assure the mobilized personnel that their service will take place in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region until the expiration of the so-called "special operation".
The command of the Russian occupation troops sends newly arrived military personnel without training to resupply the units that have suffered losses directly to the line of confrontation. This has a significant impact on the decrease in the level of the morale and psychological state of enemy servicemen and the quality of their performance of duties.
Once again, the skill of our artillery soldiers has been confirmed. During September 24 of the current year, as a result of fire impact on enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporozhye region, about 10 units of weapons and military equipment of the enemy were destroyed in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Gulyaipole, as well as one S-300 air defense system with ammunition near the city of Tokmak.
During the day, units of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Soledar, Vyimka, Kurdyumovka, Zaitsevo, Novomikhailovka, Pervomayskoye and Pavlovka.
To support the actions of ground groupings, aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces delivered 21 strikes. The defeat of 14 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the enemy and 7 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems was confirmed. In addition, air defense units in different directions destroyed 2 UAVs of the Russian army.
During the current day, missile troops and artillery hit 6 command posts, 11 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment, 2 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems, 3 missile and artillery units, 6 ammunition depots, as well as 8 separate important targets.
