It is specified that militants armed with machetes broke into the village and attacked civilians. As a result of the attack, 14 people were killed, two more were injured, and two children are missing.
According to the UN, the militants from the extremist group, who seized part of the eastern regions of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, have killed more than 1.3 thousand civilians over the past two years.
