#18  Thank you Mr. Kennedy.

Last paragraph was spot on.

#16  Special forces soldier turned MMA fighter Tim Kennedy slams Navy for investigating instructors who blasted SEAL recruits with tear gas - warns soft training will get troops 'killed' and woke culture is making military 'soft'

#15  USMC Camp Pendleton Gas Chamber 1969, we had to unmask and sing the first and second stanza's of the Marine Corp's Hymn before they opened the doors to let us out. Not a lot of intelligible words by the time we started the second stanza but it did clear your sinuses. Seriously, this is sad to read

#14  Even us regular squids got gassed...we had to take off our mask usually recite the longest general order.

#13  Tough guys and badasses are difficult to manipulate.

#12  I was tear gassed at Fort Bennington in Basic Officer course and waterboarded annually in my escape and evasion training

Someone is turning our soldiers into limp wristed children

What happened to training tough guys and badasses?

#11  Apparently this is a media wide hit job.

Its OK though when a bunch of Antifa wet ears sit in CS and sing, "If I had a hammer".

#10  When my son was at Parris Island, he went through the gas chamber exercise. His comment was that he came out blowing snot like it was his job.

#9  Oh for f^*ks sake. So what. The stuff is nasty, not lethal. It's a good tool to teach you to overcome the distraction of pain.

#8  Rumor is next year the Seals will have to sing and act "I'm a Little Teapot" to CS gas. DIE strikes again.

#7  Now if they had to sing a Yoko Ono song, that could be considered a war crime

#6  I guess the point of the singing is it prevents just sitting / standing there holding your breath. Hardly a cause for any "investigation."

#5  Yeah, this is a pretty basic (but nasty) exercise for infantry.

We had a refresher later when I was in the reserves and a contest for the longest snot string from a nose when we came out. The winner had one down to his knees. Also an honorable mention winner for having 7 go at once.

#4  Yeah, this is a pretty basic (but nasty) exercise for infantry.

Singing 'Happy Birthday' while doing it doesn't sound hard-core enough for the Seals, though.

Maybe it's the 'new inclusive' version of training.

Fly little birds, fly!

(You wave your arms up and down to air out the CS gas from your uniform. Otherwise you keep crying. One of our drill sergeants would yell this as we came out)

#1  So? We were in the gas chamber in basic training for over a minute with no protection. Cry me a fucking river.
