[ToloNews] The Islamic Emirate denied the claims of the UN Special Rapporteur for Afghanistan, Richard Bennett, saying if there is any question of the violation of human rights...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
, the supreme court will investigate.
The deputy front man for the Islamic Emirate called on Bennett to form its report based on the realities in Afghanistan.
"The rights of all people of Afghanistan are protected under the umbrella of the Islamic Emirate. Of course, if any violation occurred somewhere and someone was treated in error, it will be investigated by the Islamic Emirate," said Bilal Karimi, deputy front man for the Islamic Emirate.
UN special rapporteur Richard Bennett said on Twitter that he met with "diverse stakeholders including female and male reps of civil society from several provinces" during his visit to Afghanistan.
"Representatives from Panjshir described a massive crackdown on civilians by Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...and widespread human rights abuses," Bennett said.
This comes as some residents of Panjshir call for a transparent investigation of the human rights issues.
"There should be a united leadership to provide justice and security for the people of Panjshir," said Khatira Hisar, a resident of Panjshir.
